Boys being boys.....what big muscles!!

We hope you had a great Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for!! These amazing boys are the center of our lives and make us so happy!!! We are so grateful....everyday!!  Andon likes to be wrapped up like a snug bug in a "rug". When Kevin was done he kissed him. Then Weston kept kissing him too. It was too cute! They play together all the time now. Andon wants bunk beds so bad so I told him then they would have to share a room. He said...ok...but when Weston is 2 because then he'll be a toddler. We will have to put Weston in a bed soon because I think he's pretty close to being able to crawl out of his crib. He's such a monkey.

Wes is the dancer of the family. Everytime he hears music he goes to town dancing. He's so funny with his shoulder moves. He really gets into it.

Andon loves to watch toy reviews on youtube. Recently he started letting me record them and wants me to all the time. Before I would catch him doing them and he would get to embarassed. This is one of my favorites. I love when he says.....you best pop this open. He's such a creative kid.

I got my first big boy cup at McDonalds. I love to drink out of straws like all the big kids. I also love to steal a bun off of mamas burger. I love bread!!!

11/8/11 Today Wes gave grandpa a fat bloody lip again. Just in time for him to go to his dentist appt. Weston is in the stage of throwing things and grandpa seems to be the target. Today it was a block and the other day it was a car. We're working on that ;o) Last night I was wrestling with Andon and Weston was laughing hysterically. He decided to help his brother out and keep chucking his nuk at me. Silly boy. Those boys love to wrestle!! It's so cute that Andon is taking Weston under his wing now. He actually said he would like 100 more brothers...hahaha. Weston makes our dinners so much fun. He sure lights up the room. He's always smiling/laughing. It's so cute that he copies everything his big brother does. We are looking forward to Christmas this year w ith the boys. Weston will really be into it I think. I'm curious to see what he will do with Santa this year. Last year he didn't make anything of it. He was still the best Christmas present ever!!! Both of the boys are. We are so thankful we have them in our lives. They so speical to so many people.


11/7/11 This morning I was getting Andons backpack/thermos ready for school and I gave him clean clothes and clean underwear. I told him to make sure he changed his underwear. He came home and dropped his pants right away for grandpa. Oooops, he wore two pair of underwear to school. He put the clean ones right over the dirty ones. He's done that before. Too funny! I bet he was waiting all day to get home and take a pair off.
Tomorrow report cards come out. Andons first real report card ;o) Conferences are Thursday so this should be interesting. They get sent home with yellow slips if they do something they shouldn't and red is "really naughty" as Andon would say. Well so far this year Andon has had 5. Some of them are rediculous. While we appreciate the teacher telling us we don't beleive he should get in trouble again at home after getting in trouble at school. We do talk about them and what was wrong. The other day he got one because they were sorting m & m's and he put some in his pocket. When the teacher asked him he said he didn't know they were in his pocket. So we got a note home saying that he was lying. I was a little defensive of her calling him a "liar". I don't understand why you would let 4 and 5 year olds count m & m's and not eat them?? Two other kids didn't get caught so Andon couldn't understand why he got caught and they didn't. I ended up emailing the teacher about it and we have to discuss it at conferences. Poor Andon ran in the house and said....hold on...I have to throw something away before you look in my back pack. Rotflmao. It was funny. They are starting to affect him negativly and he's not liking school. Then he came home with a "white slip" and he was sooo excited that he got a "white slip". He's like...hurry up and read it....he was soooo proud. How could I tell him it was just a line he had to memorize for school....hehehe. I think the yellow slips are overused in his class. He got another one for yelling in the hall because there were spiders for halloween decorations. We just reminded him not to talk in the hall. Today he wanted to go to school looking like shark boy so I geled his hair standing up all over. Hopefully mama doesn't get a yellow slip for that....hahahaha. Hopefully the teacher will let up a little on these slips. These kids are too little to dislike school. At least send them a good slip once in a while then. I can picture Andon figuring out to get rid of them on the bus before he gets home...hahaha. He's so smart. He's always been ahead of all the other kids. He may not be the best in art and working on writing but he's sure a smart kid!! Handsome little stinker too!!

Boys will be boys. We have wrestling matches most nights with the whole family :O) It's so fun. Wes is starting to get the upper hand lately with Andon. It's too cute.

What a bunch of handsome little guys. They play so nice together now. Well they wrestle like crazy but they both love every minute. It's so cute to watch them bond now. They are definately buddies. Weston copies everything Andon does. It's hilarious!! (10/2011)

Wes didn't feel so good so I stayed home with him. We had to run to the store for some tylenol and a few things. He kept putting his blanket on his head if we got near the freezer section. awwww...cutie.

Andons cousins slept over after his bday party at the house. We carved pumpkins and made a mess. I had made angry bird balloons but they sank after I put tape on them. So we sucked out the helium and his cousins put the angry bird faces on theirs  :O)  Wes didn't make it up to the pumpkin part of the night.

Andon had his 5th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese and had a blast. His favorite part he said was the ticket blast booth and when Uncle Vinny came. He won over 800 tickets and got a angry bird and slinky he destroyed in minutes  ;o) I can't believe our little man is 5. He was starting to get a cold and told us his voice was changing because he was 5. Then asked us to start calling him Fred. What a character!!

We took our cute little doggie trick or treating with us this year :O) (Wes, 17mos, 10/30/11). He didn't care about the candy. One house had one of those little kids bubble cars. Well Wes tried to get in and take it for a ride. Too cute.

Andon was The Beast from Wolverine for Trick or Treat. We went trick or treating with his cousin and had a fun time. We were able to get out there before the rain came. (10/30/11, 5yrs old)

This video is from about a year go but I finally figured how to upload it. The file was always to large. It's one of my favorites!!! Andon loves Michael Jackson. His lips at the end are the best. Then theres little Wes cheesing with his face full of cereal at the end.

Wes loves to play peek a boo threw the kitty hole. He sticks his forhead in there for kisses and laughs so hard. We even get a foot in our nose sometimes. Little stinker kicks us. Who would of thought we get so much fun out of the cat hole with the boys. His brother decided to crawl in it going up the stairs one day and got stuck. Wasn't easy getting him out....hahaha.

9/2011 Daddy and the Grandpas built a nice big jungle gym...the biggest one Menards had but Andon still loves the baby swing in the tree. The boys both race for it. ;o) Andon making a scary face. We can't get him to take a "normal" picture for the life of us. But that's ok, it shows his personality and how he was at this time  ;O)

Here's our little climber! Weston loves to climb on EVERYTHING. We have to put our chairs on our countertops because he won't stay off the table or counters. Little Monkey. Last Tuesday I was talking to my mom in the morning and she said.....Wes is on his way, I have to go and tie up the chairs. Even grandma has to tie her chairs. He's is so obsessed with the kitchen table and now he pushed chairs everywhere and climbs.

Weston is such a funny boy. He's always trying to make people laugh. He puts his blankie no his head and walks around and walks into things on purpose. Then he pulls it off and laughs hysterically. He has the happiest laugh!!

Last weekend we went camping and the boys got to sit next to Yogi Bear on the hayride. Weston was so excited! This year has been alot of fun camping with him now that he's a little older. We look forward to many more camping trips.

Weston absolutely loves birdies!!! We found a cartoon that is all about birds. He's in heaven when it's on and yells birdie the whole show. He's really trying to talk now. His favorite words to say are Birdie and Car (Cawwrrrr). We can't wait to hear more words :O)

Wes is definately going to be a tough little guy. Being the younger brother he's learning that he wont' take much. Him and his brother wrestle all the time and laugh every minute. At first Andon would tell on him and now they have a blast. Andon will be watching tv on his belly and Weston just jumps on him. Kevin and I usually join in and we have wreslting matches every night. The boys can't get enough.

Andons K4 picture. What a handsome little man!!! He's doing pretty good in school. He is not a fan of art what so ever. For homework he often has to draw pictures and some nights can be difficult. He loves computer lab!! Andon is so good with computers, ipods, iphones, etc. He's quite the little gadget boy. He even shows us a few tricks :O)

This past weekend we went to Yogi bear park to camp. Andon had a fun time with the bears. Boo Boo bear is his favorite. In fact that's his name when camping. All the kids are a bear and Weston is Ranger Smith. He got to tuck all of the bears in for hibernation. He thought it was so cool that Boo Boo Bear slept on the top  bunk. When we got back to the camper he wanted to sleep on the top bunk then.

Next weekend is his birthday. This year he wanted a angry birds birthday at Chuck E.Cheese. We are making him a angry bird cake that he can launch the birds and knock over cookies, marshmellows and cake. He found it on you tube and wanted it so bad. I'm going to have his cousin Alexa and him build it. That way they can make it how they want it and have fun doing it. Grandpa is making the sling shot.

The following weekend we are doing our last camping trip for the year. We are looking forward to it because they have alot of fun things to do such as trick or treat, haunted house and many more activities. The boys absolutely love camping!! We enjoy it as well.  Now that Wes is a little bigger we hope to camp alot more next year.

We will post birthday pictures. Sorry it's been a while. We've had so much going on every weekend.

And then we have Wes who is a member of the clean plate club. Thank god for dogs or our floor would constantly be full of food. Wes takes a bite for himself, then a bite for the dog, then a bite for him, a bite for the other dog. At least he shares. It's about the only thing he will share lately  ;o) Both boys are really possesive over their blankies. Grandpa had to put a W and  a A on the blankets. Now Andon makes sure whos is whos. Too funny.....

8/31/11 I made Andon a cake for his first day of school. I remember coming home and having special treats my mom made us. I will do the same for the boys. I wanted to celebrate his first day and have him tell us all about it. He ate all the frosting off his piece. Sometimes he eats the cake but usually just eats the frosting.

9/6/11 Weston had his follow up for his ear tubes. Everything went great and he passed his earing test!! Yay! He looks like such a big boy in this picture. He crawled up in the chair all by himself. He has an obsession with climbing on the kitchen table!! A really bad one!! So we have to keep our chairs on the counters otherwise he's on the table non stop doing donuts...hahaha.

9/6/11 Andon first homework assignment, self portrait. This was the second picture. We had a bit of a melt down about the first one. Andon is not liking doing homework at all. He dislikes art very much!! Anything to do with art is not his thing  ;o) He did a great job on this picture. He's wearing a dragon shirt and the dragon has 5 claws. He also has his slippers on ;o) He gets easy homework like, counting stuffed animals before bed, dressing himself, writing his name, reading with someone, giving compliments. He is really liking school so far. He said he loves computer lab!!! He's going to be our little computer nerd!!!  :O)

9/2011 Weston has become King of the Slushies! We can't shop without one or he will try to get out of the cart. He doesn't like to sit still shoppping. This works like a charm. His brother will shop til he drops ;o)

9/2011 Andon wanted me to take his picture. He said he looks like Krusty the Clown. Silly kid.

This picture was taken this morning (9/1/11). We told Andon he could watch tv or go on the computer after he got dressed and had breakfast. Weston always crawls up on the chair with him. This is one of my favorite pictures! Shortly after this Weston was stepping on Andons legs and pulling his shirt. Andon then tried pushing him down. What brotherly love. It was so precious while it lasted  :O)

Andons first day of school went great. I did get a note sent home that he wasn't following uniform rules. I sent him to school with light up shoes and apparently you can't wear those. Ooops. We went shoe shopping last night for new shoes! When the bus dropped him off two kids had to hug him on the way out. Then the older kid Hayden on the bus yelled out the window that he wanted a playdate with Andon. Too cute! Andon is already asking for a slumber party with him. Hayden goes to a different school though but they share the bus ride. He must of learned to play simon says because we played it in the car on the way to get new shoes ;o) Today he is so excited to take hot lunch (cheeseburger). At first he didn't want to because he thought he could only get chocolate milk with cold lunch.

Weston is enjoying the only child life while his big brother is in school. He plays without any distractions ;o) I made Andon a cake for his first day of school and we were pigging out after dinner. Andon ate only the frosting as usual and Weston ate the entire plate full as usual ;o). Weston saw Lighting McQueen on his fork and pointed and said cawwrr (car). He is recognizing and saying so much lately. He even pulls our shirts up and points and says bewey (belly). He's Mr. Independent that's for sure.

Both boys are doing great and growing into amazing kids, not that they aren't already. They both have such different personalities and we love them both to pieces!

I can't beleive he's almost 5!!! He keeps asking how many more days until his birthday. He can't wait to bring a birthday snack to his new school. Andon decided he wants a angry bird birthday at Chuck E. Cheese this year  ;o)

8/31/11, After making sure his brother got off to his first day of school okay Weston started laughing hysterically in the backseat. I think he's thinking......hmmmm...I get to play with all of this toys, sleep with two blankies and no one will stop me!!!

Andons first day of K4 (8/31/11). As he walked to the bus he was a little nervous. Once he got on the bus he saw a older kid he knew from his previous school. He ran on all excited. At this point I was sooo teary. He drove off and I cried. Then we had to laugh because we realized I was still holding his lunch box. I guess I was a little nervous. Good thing we were meeting him at school to make sure everything went ok. He seemed pretty excited. I hope he's not to embarrassed I made him heart shaped pb and j sandwhiches. He loves the shapes! Today was tacos/burittos and he doesn't do Mexican  ;o).  We will follow up with how his first day went!!! I can't wait to hear myself!!!
